The Atlas Gunworks EOS originated as a steel frame variant of the popular Ares 4.25 and was initially engineered for the operator who is less concerned about weight than longevity. Early in development, Atlas recognized that the additional six ounces from the steel frame made very little difference for carry and all the difference for “shootability.” The additional weight, plus the porting, earned the EOS the right to carry the vaunted title of Perfect Zero Pistol.
